Fatal Shooting: Victim Found In Parking Garage In Westchester, Suspect At Large

Authorities are searching for the suspect involved in an incident that left a man shot in a parking garage in Westchester County. 

The shooting victim was found in a parking garage located behind an apartment building at 73 Highland Ave. in Yonkers.

The victim was found on Friday, July 28 around 6:30 p.m., when Yonkers Police discovered an unconscious man lying on the ground of a parking garage behind an apartment building at 73 Highland Ave. 

When first responders began giving medical aid to the man, they found that he had suffered a gunshot wound to his side and rushed him to a local area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Authorities have not yet released the victim's name.

Detectives from the Yonkers Police Department's Major Case Squad, Crime Scene Unit, and Digital Forensics Unit are now investigating the shooting and have not yet made any arrests.

More information is expected to be released as it becomes available, police said.
